Organized for the first time this year under the auspices of the Presidency by the Istanbul Offshore Yacht Racing Club, the \u2018Presidential International Yacht Race\u2019 started on October 29.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the first day of the races, the October 29th stage started after a moment of silence in Dolmabah\u00e7e in honor of Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atat\u00fcrk and his comrades-in-arms. The 61 yachts participating in the race on the first day fought a breathtaking battle on the Dolmabah\u00e7e, Ortak\u00f6y, Galataport Istanbul and Anadolu Hisar\u0131 course. In the October 29th stage, the first yacht to reach the finish line was the Comet A team yacht sponsored by Arkas. The winner of the stage will be announced after the corrected time calculations. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Presidential International Yacht Race, organized for the first time this year under the auspices of the Presidency of the Republic of Turkey, kicked off on October 29th, Republic Day. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Commenting on the race, Ekrem Yemlihao\u011flu, President of Istanbul Offshore Yacht Racing Club, said: \u201cToday, on a very meaningful day for our country, we have completed the first day of our races that started on our Republic Day. The race, which we organize under the auspices of our Presidency, also means a brand new international breakthrough for our national sport. Today, the number of yachts participating in all stages of the races has reached 61. On Saturday, October 31st and Sunday, November 1st, our races will witness great excitement and the team that will achieve the best overall ranking in their classes at the end of the 3 stages will be entitled to the title of Presidential International Yacht Race Champion and the Presidential Cup. We will continue our efforts to ensure that the organization, which will be followed with great interest around the world and will contribute greatly to the promotion of our country, will be held with great success for many years.\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On Saturday, October 31, Adalar\n\u2018Blue Homeland Cup\u2019 stage will take place on the course. On the last day of the competition, 1\nOn Sunday, November, the \u2018Barbaros Hayreddin Pasha Cup\u2019 stage in Kalam\u0131\u015f Bay\nand the event will end.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
