Under the auspices of the Presidency of the Republic of Turkey, with the contributions of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Youth and Sports, and in cooperation with the Governorship of Istanbul and the Governorship of Mu\u011fla, 37 sailing yachts and 300 athletes from Turkey, Ukraine, Romania, Bulgaria, Russia and the Netherlands participated in the Halicarnassus Cup.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The concert planned to be held in Mu\u011fla's Bodrum district for the award ceremony of the 2nd Presidential International Yacht Races Halicarnassus Cup was canceled due to the death of a forestry worker in a fire in Marmaris.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
At the trophy ceremony held at Bodrum Castle, the winners received their trophies and medals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Speaking at the ceremony, Ekrem Yemlihao\u011flu, President of Istanbul Offshore Yacht Racing Club, said that the Presidential International Yacht Races were completed without any problems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Bodrum District Governor Bekir Y\u0131lmaz stated that the races added color to the social and cultural life of Mu\u011fla and said, \u201cIt was a very successful organization. The races will also make a great contribution to the tourism and promotion of Bodrum.\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Dat\u00e7a District Governor Mesut \u00c7oban, Provincial Director of Culture and Tourism Zekeriya Bing\u00f6l, Provincial Director of Youth and Sports \u00d6mer \u0130lman, Bodrum Mayor Ahmet Aras and athletes attended the ceremony.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
