The world-famous bays in Gocek neighborhood of Mugla's Fethiye district are being put out to tender one by one. After the tender for 4 bays, the tender for 8 more bays will be held on March 24. Fethiye-Seydikemer Power Union Platform stated that approximately 4 thousand daily boats will not be able to enter 12 bays and demanded that the tender process be stopped.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Fethiye-Seydikemer Professional Organizations Strength Union Platform, of which Fethiye Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FTSO) is the secretariat, gathered to discuss the tenders that give Fethiye-G\u00f6cek-Dalaman bays to the use of private companies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to S\u00f6zc\u00fc's news, the platform noted that the tenders for Boynuzb\u00fck\u00fc, Osmana\u011fa, G\u00fcnl\u00fck and \u0130nceburun were held, while the tenders for Kille B\u00fck\u00fc, Kille, Bedri Rahmi, S\u0131ral\u0131b\u00fck, Sarsala, Hamam, Binlik and Mart\u0131 bays will be held on March 24.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Stating that 59 vaults and 99 moorings were leased in Boynuzb\u00fck\u00fc, Osmana\u011fa, G\u00fcnl\u00fck and \u0130nceburun bays on March 15 during the tender process initiated by the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change regarding the planned mooring, vaulting and buoying system and their operation in Fethiye-G\u00f6cek-Dalaman bays, platform members noted that the legal process to stop the tender process has been initiated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Platform members also noted that with two separate tenders to be held on March 24, 2022, it was determined that a total of 221 moorings and 84 vaults with a mooring capacity of 400 boats in G\u00f6cek's Kille B\u00fck\u00fc, Kille, Bedri Rahmi, S\u0131ral\u0131b\u00fck, Sarsala, Hamam, Binlik and Mart\u0131 bays will be given to a private company. Stating that the world-famous G\u00f6cek bays will be given to the use of only a certain group of people with these tenders, the platform members emphasized that approximately 4 thousand daily boats in Fethiye and G\u00f6cek will not be able to enter these bays.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Stating that Mu\u011fla Metropolitan Municipality and Fethiye Municipality will be deprived of a very important source of income, the mooring fee charged for the mooring of boats at the docks, the platform members demanded that the tender processes be stopped immediately.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
