{"id":17320,"date":"2024-03-25T08:27:32","date_gmt":"2024-03-25T08:27:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/yathaberturkiye.com\/?p=17320"},"modified":"2024-03-25T08:27:34","modified_gmt":"2024-03-25T08:27:34","slug":"archimedese-science-and-discovery-award","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/yathaberturkiye.com\/en\/archimedese-science-and-discovery-award\/","title":{"rendered":"Archimedes Award for Science and Discovery"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Archimedes produced by Feadship Shipyard <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.feadship.nl\/fleet\/archimedes1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><\/a><strong>received the Science and Exploration award at the 4th YCM Explorer Awards for her contribution to protecting the marine environment.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Archimedes, built by the Dutch Feadship Shipyard, won the Science and Exploration award at the 4th YCM Explorer Awards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>HRH Prince Albert II handed over the prestige award, which was presented as part of the 7th Monaco Ocean Week, to the captain of the 67.75-meter Archimedes at a ceremony held at the Monaco Yacht Club on March 21, 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Contribution to protecting the marine environment<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The YCM Explorer Awards, chaired by HSH Prince Albert II, are presented to yachts that contribute to protecting the marine environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Archimedes was awarded the prize for his commitment to exploring remote oceanic regions and contributing to scientific research and humanitarian endeavors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>It also engages in humanitarian activities<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Five instruments aboard the yacht measure light and temperature at the water surface, providing a comprehensive understanding of the marine environment. In parallel with its scientific missions, Archimedes also carries out humanitarian activities.
