Mustafa Kemal Atat\u00fcrk's maritime understanding, which has not been researched much, was written by Journalist G\u00f6khan Karaka\u015f and Naval Historian Ali Bozo\u011flu. The book, Atat\u00fcrk's Ships, written by the authors by analyzing 34 ships that Atat\u00fcrk boarded between 1918 and 1938 and more than 150 written and visual sources through four years of research, was published by Panku\u015f Publications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The sea voyage he set out on the Band\u0131rma ferry on May 16, 1919 to save the nation, why he chose the sea route again when returning to Istanbul eight years, one month and 19 days later, the world's first public relations ferry S\/S Karadeniz, which showed the modern face of the Republic of Turkey, the call to prayer recited from the Eiffel Tower, and the double-chip pillows that are the symbol of Turkish civilian maritime are discussed in the book.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
