Commercial boat owners and operators in Bodrum, who have had to adjust their prices due to a weaker tourism season compared to previous years, are now experiencing a loss of business due to the water shortage. However, water makers, which represent a very reasonable investment cost, especially for commercial boats, provide a solution to the problem of fresh water supply for boats.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>RielliMarine water makers, which combine the expertise of Rielli, Turkey's competitive global water treatment brand known across six continents and more than 80 countries worldwide with over 30 years of experience in water recycling and treatment, with the maritime sector, are also providing solutions to the water shortage of commercial vessels in Bodrum.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\u201cEvery moment a tour boat spends in port during the season is a commercial loss.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Artun Kazanc\u0131, Founder and General Manager of Kazanc\u0131 Environmental Technology, stated that the water shortage in Bodrum has confined boats to the harbor during the peak season, adding, \u201cEvery moment a tour boat spends in the harbor during the season is a commercial loss. Commercial boat owners and operators started this year under economic pressure and were unable to make the necessary price adjustments. To maintain last year's turnover and profitability rates, they needed to operate 20\u201330% more tours than last year; however, the weak tourism season is preventing this. In August, when business is expected to peak, boats cannot cover the losses incurred by remaining in port.\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\u201cIt negatively impacts tourism revenues.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Artun Kazanc\u0131 stated that daily boat tours departing from Bodrum are priced between 800 and 950 TL per person, adding, \u201cThe price for a private tour on a 12-meter boat for 5-6 people is around 500 euros, and as the boat size approaches 15 meters, these prices reach 1,500 euros. Private daily rental fees for larger luxury yachts start at 5,000 euros. Considering that nearly half of the daily tour boats in Bodrum are currently unable to go out to sea due to a lack of water supply, the extent of the losses, which negatively affect not only boat owners and operators but also tourism revenues, becomes clearer. Daily losses exceed tens of thousands of euros,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Eight different models<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kazanc\u0131 stated that RielliMarine water makers meet freshwater needs at sea with a production capacity of 100\u2013450 liters\/hour across eight different models, adding: \u201cThe RielliMarine 220V AC water makers we offer in partnership with Trend Marin, which has earned trust and reputation among sailors, use reverse osmosis technology to purify seawater from salt and other contaminants, turning it into drinkable fresh water. I can comfortably say that the investment cost will be less than three days of lost work.
