Young people who love the sea are preparing to feel the wind of freedom once again off the coast of Urla. Jimmy Key Universal 2025<\/strong> Sailing Races will set sail for the 14th time in the blue waters of Urla on April 26-27. The event is organized by the Urla Sailing Community. UR\u0130YAT<\/strong>, Urla Yacht Club and Jimmy Key <\/strong>is being implemented through cooperation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Urla, \u0130zmir's popular coastal town, will once again host young sailors this year. The races will start at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 26, at Urla Pier and will end at the same location. Many university teams have already registered, and the application process is still ongoing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Last year, 285 students from 15 universities participated in the races, which attracted great interest, with a total of 430 athletes competing to become sailors. In 2024, in the first group Yasar University<\/strong>, Izmir University of Economics <\/strong>and Y\u0131ld\u0131z Technical University<\/strong>; in the second group Ege University<\/strong>, Galatasaray University<\/strong> and Bilkent University z<\/strong>had been present at the summit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
