Akduman noted that a company from Australia had shifted its production to Turkey in order to reduce shipping costs, reminding us that the country serves as a strategic bridge in this regard. There was significant interest in boats over 10 meters in length among those on display. Akduman stated that demand for smaller boats had declined, while sales in the luxury segment had increased. \u201cDemand for boats over 25 meters has also increased globally,\u201d he said, noting that this trend would strengthen in the coming years. However, the lack of marina and land parking areas is negatively affecting interest in 5-10 meter boats. Boats that cannot find space are faced with marinas charging mooring fees of up to 500,000 TL, which is directing investors towards larger boats.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
