The Aegean's most established maritime festival once again filled its sails with wind this year.
The Bodrum Cup<\/a><\/strong>, In its 37th year, sponsored by Maximiles Black, with the first light of dawn Yal\u0131kavak Marina<\/a><\/strong>\u2019It began with the start given from.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This year's theme \u201cFor generations\u201d<\/em>, It summed up the spirit of the Bodrum Cup once again:
Sailing is not just a sport, it's a way of life.
A wreath was laid in the sea in memory of Necati Zincirk\u0131ran, who had worked tirelessly for the event for many years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The ceremony was attended by Mu\u011fla Governor Dr. \u0130dris Akb\u0131y\u0131k, Bodrum District Governor Ali S\u0131rmal\u0131, Bodrum Mayor Tamer Mandalinci, Honorary President Erman Aras, and Committee President S\u00fcleyman Uysal.<\/p>\n\n\n

Record Participation, Growing International Interest<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Organizing Committee Chairman S\u00fcleyman Uysal stated that this year's participation was at a record level:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThis year, we have 65 racing yachts and 40 committee boats at sea. We have approximately 1,350 competitors, and the number is growing every day. The largest number of participants came from the Netherlands and Germany. The return of foreign teams to Bodrum after the pandemic is very valuable to us.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Uysal also emphasized that they will be sailing on a course of approximately 120 miles and that their goal is to \u201cbring the Bodrum Cup experience to sailing enthusiasts around the world.\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n

\u201cOur goal is to spread tourism across all 12 months in Mu\u011fla. The Bodrum Cup is a very valuable event in this regard.\u201d

The races will take place over five stages between October 20 and 25;
It will proceed along the Yal\u0131kavak, Iasos, and Bodrum routes.
The final and award ceremony will be hosted by A\u011fanlar Shipyard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Bodrum Cup is not just a race,
