This wonderful object, which looks like a UFO in the water when viewed from above or from the shore, is actually a personalized sea hotel that takes the concept of isolated life a few steps further.
Designed by architect Jean-Michel Ducancelle, who was inspired by James Bond's floating pod in the 1977 movie The Spy Who Loved Me Spy, this unique structure takes you away from everyone and offers you an experience alone with the blue.
Anthénea, which was first introduced last year, also draws attention with its extremely environmentally friendly design. Designed entirely from recyclable materials, the floating house Anthénea can provide enough energy for itself thanks to the solar energy panels installed on its roof.
One of the most important investors of Anthénea, whose circular body is made of fiberglass, is Pierre Cardin. The interior design of the houseboat Anthénea was also realized by Pierre Cardin. On the lower level, there is a seating area, a minibar and a circular bedroom. Upstairs, there is an open listening area with seating for 12 people. Offering 360-degree views in all living areas, Anthénea's windows below the water level allow you to observe the underwater world.
All you need is a digital tablet to control Anthénea, whose living spaces and sections can be designed according to user preference. Jean-Michel Ducancelle, the designer of Anthénea, which has a slow cruise license, states that he designed it so that it will not sink even in severe hurricanes.
