Mengi Yay Shipyard's specialist refit brand Reviva Refit has launched the R11.4 maintenance and refit project of the iconic expedition yacht M/Y Grand Rusalina. This technical partnership, now in its fourth consecutive year, includes the yacht's 5-year RINA class survey and comprehensive mechanical overhaul at Tuzla facilities.
ISTANBUL - A rising name in the global superyacht maintenance and repair market Reviva Refit, one of the most prestigious projects in its portfolio M/Y Grand Rusalina’is welcoming back the yacht. The 50-meter expedition yacht, built by Trinity Yachts, was towed ashore at the shipyard's modern facilities in Tuzla as of January 2026 in line with the planned maintenance schedule.
Uninterrupted Service and Operational Continuity
Grand Rusalina management's choice of Reviva Refit for four years in a row is considered an indicator of the shipyard's technical competence and sustainable service quality. Project R11.4 The work carried out within the scope of the project is managed by expert teams who are familiar with the yacht's systems, in the light of data based on operational history.
Project R11.4: Technical Scope of Work
The project, scheduled for delivery in April 2026, includes the following technical processes aimed at maximizing the yacht's round-the-world capability and aesthetic standards:
- 5 Years RINA Class Survey: Certification renewal process for full compliance with international maritime standards.
- Mechanical and Auxiliary Machines: Comprehensive heavy maintenance of main engine systems and generators.
- Body and Paint Works: Complete painting of the hull and updating of the corrosion protection systems.
- Valve and Pipe Circuits: Dismantling and maintenance of all valve systems, testing and making necessary changes.
- Interior and Exterior Design Renovations: Upholstery modernization of deck upholstery and lounge furniture.
Project Calendar
The schedule of the project, which is carried out in coordination between the shipyard and ship management, was determined as follows:
- Tuzla Arrival December 29, 2025
- Disembarkation (Hauling): January 6, 2026
- Launching: April 7, 2026
- Final Delivery: April 22, 2026
