Strong interest in high quality and affordable locally produced boats

The world's second largest fair in its field CNR Eurasia Boat Show, until Sunday, March 3 CNR EXPO will keep its doors open in Yeşilköy. The fair attracted great interest from many countries including France, England, Greece, Spain, Italy, Russia and the Commonwealth of Independent States, Germany, Norway, South Korea, Bulgaria, Greece, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, UAE, Poland, Russia, Russia and the Commonwealth of Independent States, Germany, Norway, South Korea, Bulgaria, Greece, Saudi Arabia, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, UAE and Poland. Alparslan Sirkecioğlu, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Association for the Development of the Marine Industry and Shipping (DENTUR), said: “We have a domestic manufacturing sector that produces high quality boats and yachts at affordable prices and appeals to all segments from amateur to professional. Our sector also makes a difference with our local designers. For example, Numarine designs boats up to 45 meters with the distributorship system it has established from the USA to New Zealand. In addition, our manufacturers are also very successful in exporting what they produce. Fifteen major domestic boat and yacht manufacturers, including Numarine, Mengi Yay, San Boat, Enma, Yerli Yurt, Safter, Kaya Denizcilik, Anatolia Denizcilik and Ege Yat, are exhibiting their products at the show. CNR Eurasia Boat Show paves the way for domestic manufacturers by causing the sector market to grow.”.

Turkish buyers look for fuel advantage and large living space in boats

At the fair, the 45-meter-long domestic production Numarine 45XP model, worth 102 million liras, attracted great interest from Turkish buyers, especially from Spanish and South Koreans. Numarine Maritime Brand Manager Ali Tanır said, “We are a labor-intensive sector. From this point of view Trained labor at an affordable price compared to European manufacturersWe are making production. One of our biggest reasons for preference as a local manufacturer is that we make customized production. Our quality in domestic production attracts the attention of Turkish buyers as well as foreigners at the fair. Especially our XP models, which offer a combination of fuel consumption advantage and large living space, became the favorite of Turkish buyers. The 45XP, the most expensive boat of the fair, attracted a lot of attention due to its price advantage. Starting at 102 million liras, we sell boats of the same quality with the same features at prices starting from 102 million liras, while the price of the same boat in foreign production is around 150 million liras. We export 80 percent of our production. We make 20 percent of our sales as a result of the warm contacts we made at the CNR Eurasia Boat Show.’.

“40 percent more affordable boats locally”

San Boat company official Okan Oğuztürk stated that domestic production boats are at least 40 percent more affordable and said: “Our locally produced boats have a serious price advantage. There is great interest in our 7-meter motor yachts that we exhibited at the CNR Eurasia Boat Show. The price of our yacht, which especially appeals to the family, is 170 thousand liras. A motor yacht of the same size is not less than 250 thousand liras in foreign manufacturers. We have more than foreigners, not less.” Hasan Hüseyin Kalaycı, the owner of Anıl Marin company, who stated that they exceeded European standards as a company, stated that there was an intense interest from Norway and Cyprus this year and said, “There is also great interest from the country. On the first day of the fair, we gave two boats to Rize and there was great interest from Bodrum. Our 8.09 WA model at the fair has the features that a complete family can live in. There is great interest in this boat. The price of the foreign equivalent of our boat, which we sell here for 330 thousand liras, has a price of 600 thousand liras, ”he said.
