There are two innovations on Celestyal ships: Aesthetic medicine miracles and Ayurvedic care are now possible at sea. And for a genuine cup of coffee, the Illy Coffee Bar is now on board Celestyal ships.
Celestyal is introducing a series of innovations with the aim of always offering its guests even better on their voyages. The first of these is onboard wellness practices. Celestyal has launched new health and SPA applications on board its ships, focusing on the philosophy of holistic wellness. Developed with concepts designed to rejuvenate the mind, body and soul, the application was inspired by the ancient Greek tradition of the Sozo experience and Wellnes.
Accordingly, Celestyal guests will now experience the miracle of aesthetic medicine at Sozo Spa. The following treatments will be available on board: A three-dimensional wrinkle-smoothing intensifying treatment (an additional or alternative facial to Botox), pro-collagen lifting and firming with concentrated products reflecting LED and micro-needling techniques, and a customizable mesoforce revitalizing plumping treatment inspired by a mesotherapy session in aesthetic medicine practice.
The wellness center on board Celestyal ships will also offer Ayurvedic care inspired by the 5,000-year-old practice of Ayurveda. The natural healing system, which is rooted in India's Vedic culture and focuses on observing people through the five elements of earth, water, fire, air and ether, includes the following massages, with prices ranging from 72 euros to 122 euros: Ayurvedic head massage, Ayurvedic face and body massage (a body massage that aims to relieve tension, detoxify and revitalize facial tissues by focusing on vital energy points such as marma points and facial muscles), Kizhi herbal scrub treatment, Abhyanga Ayurvedic oil massage, Nasyam face and head massage, Ayurvedic light leg massage (a method that focuses on stimulating circulation and relaxing muscles using warm herbal oils such as sesame or coconut oil).
To complete the wellness experience, guests can enjoy smoothies made with rare ingredients such as Pink Pitaya and Blue Spirulina at the Fig & Honey bar.
First coffee bar on a cruise line
Another innovation of Celestyal was the establishment of a new coffee bar on board in cooperation with the world-famous Italian coffee brand Illy.
Opened on the 1266-guest Celestyal Discovery, Café Nation is the first coffee bar on a cruise line. The concept was born out of a common ritual shared around the world, which is also a legacy of Greek culture. Installed on Discovery, the newest addition to the Celestyal fleet, the coffee bar has already become a focal point, a place where guests can connect to the internet, relax and socialize throughout the day. Café Nation is likely to make those who work remotely and take vacations happy by following the new generation ’workation’ trend.
