The 10th Bodrum International Optimist Regatta has concluded.

The 10th Bodrum International Optimist Regatta has concluded.

The 10th Bodrum International Optimist Races (BIOR), organized in Muğla's Bodrum district, ended with an award ceremony.

The organization, which is included in the Turkish Sailing Federation (TYF) activity program and organized by Bodrum Municipality Bodrumspor Sailing Branch with the contributions of the Ministry of Youth and Sports and Bodrum Municipality, was attended by 312 athletes from 20 countries.

In the organization, the athletes who sailed from the Paşatarlası locality of Kumbahçe Neighborhood struggled on the course established off the coast of Bodrum. The winners received their trophies at a ceremony held in Kumbahçe Square.

In the optimist general ranking where the top 10 finishers took the podium, Weka Bhanubandh from Thailand's Royal Varuna Yacht Club came first, Sviatoslav Madonich from the Ukraine Optimist Sailing Team came second and Timmy Vassallo from the Malta National Team came third.
