Baltic Yachts, Baltic 121 Custom is building a blue water sailboat named
Baltic Yachts has signed a new contract for a 37-meter high-performance blue water cruising sailboat.
The architecture and exterior design of the sailboat is by Designer Malcolm McKeon and the interior design is by Adam Lay Studio, owned by Interior Designer Adam Lay.
“It has a generous sail plan”
Designer Malcolm McKeon had this to say about the sailboat: “This design features an all-carbon structure, a telescopic keel, a fixed sun canopy and a generous sail plan. This ensures a very excellent sailing performance. The contemporary exterior design maximizes the use of glass in the superstructure, creating a bright and open interior with 360-degree views from the all-glass deckhouse.”
“Part of a balanced aesthetic”
“The interior will be an evolution of our studio's modern, nature-inspired, textural approach with clean lines and muted wood tones. Contrasting textural fabrics will form part of the aesthetic, carefully balanced with practicality and longevity in mind for comfortable family cruising,” said interior designer Adam Lay.
“12 yachts over 100ft LOA in 10 years
Henry Hawkins, Baltic Yachts Executive Vice President, said: “This order demonstrates the core strengths of Baltic Yachts. In the last 10 years we have delivered 12 yachts over 100ft LOA, all within their original budgets, in line with their contracted weight targets and delivered on average one week after their contracted delivery date. This is a performance we are very proud of.”.
The sailboat will be delivered in the fall of 2026.
