What is the general concept of your marina and what distinguishes you from others?
Çeşme Marina, which embodies the historical and cultural heritage and characteristics of the Çeşme region, also stands out as a modern and well-run facility. The operation of the marina and the services it offers, as well as the attention to detail, are the defining features that set Çeşme Marina apart. The PIANC Marina Excellence Jack Nichol Award committee has also recognized Çeşme Marina as the best facility in recent years in terms of functionality, aesthetics and environmental sustainability.

One of the most sought-after features of marinas is the technical services they offer. In this context, what technical facilities does Çeşme Marina offer?
We have a total land parking area of 5,500 m² in our dry dock area, and we can serve an average of 100 boats at the same time with our 80 Ton capacity overhead crane and 20 Ton capacity boat transporter. All technical expectations of our guests are met with comprehensive services such as main engine and generator replacement, shaft-propeller bearing replacements, new electrical installations, rigging control and maintenance, teak deck flooring, etc. offered by our sub-tenants specialized in mechanical, electrical, hull maintenance and wood / furniture works.
Çeşme Marina is a marina with a wide range of social facilities. From this perspective, how do you evaluate your visitor numbers?
With the services we offer both on the seaside and on the land side, our food and beverage, retail and textile businesses in our commercial area bring many possible options to our visitors at a single point, the duration of our visitors' stay here naturally increases. During peak summer season days, the number of visitors reaches 25 thousand per day.
Your marina has received many awards so far, what do you attribute this success to? You were awarded the Green World award in 2018, what are the factors that contributed to this?
Our marina aims to offer the most suitable solutions to boat owners in line with their needs since the first day it started to serve. We attribute our success to this philosophy.
Our marina has always prioritized its environmentalist identity and achieved significant gains in this regard. In 2018, our olive oil project, in which we harvested the olives from 85 olive trees in our marina every year with a festival attended by our employees, was deemed worthy of an award in the field of sustainability. While realizing this project, we aimed to both protect the environmental conditions in and around the marina and to convey the importance of the environment and afforestation to future generations.
What is the future vision of Çeşme Marina? Are there any projects that will be realized in the near future?
Our vision is to provide a safe, friendly and unique experience for all our guests on land and at sea, within a comfortable coastal setting. In the near future, we have projects related to digitalization. We plan to make our guests' routine daily tasks easier for them and make their experience at our marina more enjoyable.
