Ms. Emine, how did your journey to establish Moss Yacht begin? How did you decide to enter this sector?
Yachting is truly an industry that requires great courage. It all starts with dreams, but turning those dreams into reality demands tremendous determination. I saw the potential of Turkey in the yachting sector and decided to launch an initiative that could become a global brand in this field. Moss Yacht was born precisely from this vision. The day we delivered our first yacht, I knew we were on the right track.

Öncelikle Moss Yat, tamamen %100 Türk üretimi bir marka. Bu, bizim için çok önemli bir gurur kaynağı. Tasarımlarımızda modern çizgilerle klasik zarafeti bir araya getiriyoruz. In addition, we aim to expand our presence in global markets and establish our brand as a world leader.
What is it like to be a female entrepreneur in the yachting industry?
Being a female entrepreneur in a male-dominated industry like yachting comes with its own set of advantages and challenges. Among the advantages is the potential for women to bring a fresh perspective to the industry. However, encountering prejudice is inevitable. To overcome these prejudices, we have always prioritized our passion and expertise for our work. At Moss Yacht, we aim to change these perceptions in the industry and be remembered for our success.

I believe women can make a difference both in design and management. For this reason, I encourage more women to join this sector and take bold steps with confidence.

What are your thoughts on the future of women entrepreneurs in the sector?
The increase in female entrepreneurs in the sector will lead to yachting becoming more innovative and creative. Women's different perspectives and problem-solving skills bring dynamism to this sector. Furthermore, the presence of women entrepreneurs in the industry is also very important in terms of serving as role models for young girls. As the number of women entrepreneurs in the sector increases, maritime and yachting will become a more inclusive field.
