Since 1989, Korkmaz Yachting has been involved in interior design projects, participating in nearly 300 projects to date. Company owner Rıza Arslan Korkmaz is someone who, in order to do his job to the best of his ability, studied foreign languages, auto CAD, and architecture after the age of 40. Headquartered in Tuzla, the company operates across a wide area with branches in Bodrum and Göcek. Korkmaz, who states that they are currently working on the Mengi Yay and Tansu Yachting projects, says that they strive to do every job to the best of their ability and that their work will intensify in the coming years.

We tried to do every job we could do in the best possible way.

“Korkmaz Yachting is a family business. My wife, brother-in-law, and siblings work together as a family. I have been in this industry for 33 years. I came to Tuzla in 1989. In my early years here, I was a tenant. Currently, I work in my own space, which is approximately 600 square meters. The best part of maintaining my position in the industry is aiming to be ourselves. We worked as a family and loved our work. We tried to do every job we could do in the best way possible. To improve ourselves, we participated in trade shows for 17 years. I followed and attended trade shows abroad almost every year. I went to Düsseldorf for about 10 years in a row.”

I built Tansu Yachting's 19 boats.

“To date, we have built nearly 300 boats. Over the past two years, I have built two boats in Croatia, one 60 meters long and the other 50 meters long. I delivered them. The AES Yachting boat was designed by Ali Gez. We went to Croatia and did all the decoration work on that boat together with our colleagues there. Meanwhile, I have a passion for engines. I traveled all over the Balkans with my motorboat, went as far as Spet, and took pictures of the boat I built. In the maritime sector, I work with Mengi Yay Yachting, AES Yachting, and Tansu Yachting. I built all 19 boats made by Tansu Yachting. Rıza Bey of Tansu Yachting is a very good and successful person. The source of his success is that he chooses his colleagues very well. He is a very good observer. He does work that is worth more than its market value. He has very nice projects. I hope the future will be even better. He works constantly. He has also received many awards.’

The next two years will be quite busy for us.

“This year, we will build two or three boats that are currently on Rıza Tansu's workbench, which are related to the work we will be doing in the coming years. Mengi Yay Yachting has one 45-meter boat and one 27-meter boat. We have signed agreements for them. The next two years will be quite busy for us. There are certain challenges in the industry, but our business is doing well. We will be focusing on these projects over the next two years. These are our pride and joy.”

Korkmaz Yachting completed the interior layout of the 60-meter yacht built in Croatia by AES Yachting, with interior design by Ali Gez. The megayacht features a massage room, a gym, a bar, a room for private meetings, a dining room, four guest cabins, and two VIP cabins, for a total of six cabins.
