In his speech at the ceremony in Madenli Neighborhood, Governor Rahmin Doğan explained the importance of the investments realized by the Governorship and the Metropolitan Municipality.

Stating that they have been working hard to ensure that Hatay gets the share it deserves from tourism since the day he took office, Doğan said that great efforts have been made for the project.
Governor Doğan said that the marina pier, which can accommodate 108 yachts, is nearing completion, and that they planned the back part of the facility as a water sports center and held the tender last week:
“God willing, international sailing races will be held here in September 2021. The area opposite is planned as social facilities. There will be 3 restaurants, restaurants, 2 cafeterias and other social facilities in this area. The infrastructure planning of the area on the left side, where there will be parking lots and other facilities, is also included in the tender we made last week. In line with the request of the Metropolitan Municipality, we rented the area on the opposite side to the Metropolitan Municipality for 10 years at a cost of 2 million liras. Hopefully, we will realize the dreams of going to Lebanon, Beirut and TRNC with HADO, which Hatay is longing for, in a short time.”
Doğan stated that they plan to complete all 3 investments in about 2 months.
HADO will transport citizens traveling to Lebanon, TRNC and Mersin
Hatay Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Lütfü Savaş stated that starting from the end of the summer, HADO will transport citizens traveling to Lebanon, TRNC and Mersin.
Explaining that they will make a significant contribution to both tourism and cultural and commercial activities, Savaş said that a customs area was built on an area of 1670 square meters at a cost of 4 million 600 thousand liras and that this area will be completed in about 3 months.
After the speeches, the participants of the ceremony pressed the button and laid the foundation of Madenli Marina, Water Sports Center and HADO Enterprise.
