Turkey's global boat builder Sirena Marine launched its new motor yacht model Sirena 88, which is manufactured at RMK Marine, in Tuzla with the participation of a large number of guests and boat lovers.The design of Sirena 88, which Sirena Marine produces with its own know-how and human resources, bears the signature of world-renowned designers German Frers and Cor D. Rover.
Operating under the umbrella of Kıraça Holding, one of Turkey's leading groups, Sirena Marine, Turkey's first motor yacht serial manufacturer Sirena Yachts, Turkey's first serial yacht manufacturer in motor yachts, and Euphoria and Azuree in sailing yachts, continues to produce three brands with its own know-how and export them all over the world.
Sirena Marine, adding a new one to the world's preferred motor yacht models with its new flagship Sirena 88, launched its new model with a ceremony organized at RMK Marine in Tuzla, Istanbul. Sirena Marine CEO İpek Kıraç, Sirena Marine Director Çağın Genç, Sirena Yachts Product Manager Tanıl Sürmeli, Sirena 88’s designers Cor D. Rover and German Frers attended the ceremony, which was attended by many guests and boat lovers.
Speaking at the launching ceremony of the new flagship Sirena 88, Sirena Marine CEO İpek Kıraç stated that they have come to this day through a very long journey; “As Sirena Marine, we have come to where we are today by making mistakes but learning from those mistakes; by falling down and consequently improving. Every manager defines his job as a team job, but ours is a family job. As we grew these brands, we grew with them. Today, our audit manager, project manager, factory manager, marketing manager, sales manager have all started from the bottom and worked their way up to where they are today. In other words, they worked with us, not for us. They worked like their own company, like their own children. They didn't get up in the morning to go to work, they got up to create their own brands. We had very, very difficult days. I know what sacrifices we have made for this company, how much sleep we have lost, under what conditions we have brought this company to this point. I am proud to work with you. That's why what makes Sirena Marine different is our love, our spirit and our team... I would like to extend my endless thanks to all members of the Sirena family and our designers who have contributed to our success today”he said.
In his speech at the ceremony, Sirena Marine Director Çağın Genç stated that they are now ready for a different league with Sirena 88; “We have produced the biggest boat of the Sirena brand that can be produced in CE standard with the Sirena 88. Bigger boats than this model are a different league and we are ready for this league. More than 400 boats that we have produced so far are now sailing all over the world. Our Sirena branded yachts continue to be highly appreciated in the market with their long-distance, efficient, voluminous and dual character form. I am proud to say that we have already sold both Sirena 58 and Sirena 64 models, both of which we will produce until the middle of next year. Sirena 88, which we launched today, has the same character as its siblings. We produced it with love and belief, and we believe that our customers will also like it. We also opened our hangar at RMK Marine on this occasion. Here we will now be able to produce boats up to 45 meters. This will create a great opportunity for us to step into a new league.’.
Sirena Yachts Product Manager Tanıl Sürmeli stated that they set out for Sirena Yachts, their first motor yacht brand, about five years ago; “We did not choose the easy path, but the long and difficult one by choosing to create a brand that is 100 percent local and our own under the leadership of our CEO İpek Kıraç. With the great effort and dedication that followed, Sirena Yacht has now become a brand respected by its well-established competitors. For an organization that has analyzed its competitors and the market correctly, knows its customers well, and most importantly, has been able to transfer its own potential to the product in the most efficient way, the opposite would be unthinkable. Today, our family is launching its 410th boat into the world waters. We are only at the beginning. We have a long way to go, our excitement is high, and we are young. With its cocktail table, dining table, bar and optional jacuzzi, the Sirena 88’s flybridge is a socializing area in itself.High technology underlies the Sirena 88’s efficient and powerful performance. It is built with carbon fiber for a lighter hull and a more stable cruise. With a top speed of up to 25 knots, Sirena 88 is targeted to reach 2,430 nautical miles at 9 knots. And despite this power, she is quiet, which is unheard of for a boat of this size.
