Built with a steel hull and currently under construction at RMK Marine facilities, this yacht is designed as an exploration vessel for long-distance voyages. Despite being under 500 GT, the yacht incorporates all the features typical of exploration yachts and is counting down the days to set sail across the world's oceans under the name Seven Seas.
Designed specifically for an experienced sailor in collaboration with RMK Marine and Vripack, the yacht was designed at the owner's request to be a cross between a trawler-style boat and a family-type boat. While the lines and aesthetics of the boat are reminiscent of Vripack's previous exploration yachts, the interior features plenty of natural light and unobstructed sea views thanks to the use of large windows.
Commenting on the project, Vripack director Bart M. Bouwhuis stated that the boat owner wanted a large boat but also wanted it to be designed in a way that would allow access to bays and marinas, saying, ‘They were keen to design a pocket exploration yacht. We designed a boat for them that would have adequate carrying capacity while cruising in different regions. We created a boat under 50 meters that incorporates all the features of a 500 GT vessel.’.
With its comfortable and spacious interior, the Seven Seas has the feel of a true family boat. Featuring open seating areas and ample storage capacity, it is a vessel capable of meeting all the owner's needs as it sails the world's oceans.
