A journey from Marmaris to the sea, nature and history

Tours departing from Marmaris offer two different options following the Marmaris-Fethiye-Marmaris route and Marmaris-Datça Marmaris route. On the Fethiye Tour, guests will follow the route of Ekincik Bay, Dalyan, Batık Hamam, Tersane Island, Kızılada and Göcek Bay and arrive at Batık Hamam Bay, named after a magnificent old bath buried in the sea. Then the boat will reach Fethiye, the most important city of the Lycian Civilization, called Telmessos in ancient times, in the west along with Caria. Those who wish can also participate in an optional safari tour. The boat will then follow the route of Göcek Island, Yassıca Islands and on the 6th day of the journey, Bedri Rahmi Bay, Sarsala Bay, which has an unspoiled structure with its lush green nature surrounding it and clear waters with caretta carettas swimming in it, and then reach Aga Port. On the last day, the voyage will return to Marmaris via Kumlubük Bay and Cennet Island.

The route of the Marmaris-Datça-Marmaris tour is Arap Island, Bozukkale (Loryma), Datça, Aktur, Bencik, Orhaniye, Selimiye, Kocaada, Dirsek Bükü, Bozburun, Kumluk, Kadırga, Cennet Island. Loryma, which has 9 towers and is named Bozukkale because one side is missing, is known for being used for Athenian ships in the Peleponnes Sea Wars. In 395 BC, the Athenian commander Karor gathered his ships here before the Battle of Cnidus and in 305 BC, Antigonos’ son Demetrios chose this harbor for his preparations for the attack on Rhodes. Bencik on the route is located in the narrowest part of the peninsula separating Hisarönü Bay from Gökova Bay. In 550 B.C., the Cnidians wanted to open the narrowest part of the peninsula for one kilometer as a defense line against the Persian army coming to the Datça Peninsula and to unite the Gulf of Gökova and the Gulf of Hisarönü. Thus, the two seas would merge, the peninsula would become a complete island, and defense would be easier. This project started but failed and the Persians captured Cnidos.

Reach the ancient city of Olympos by sea like pirates

Kemer- Kekova- Kemer Blue Cruise Tour follows the route of Kemer, Olympos, Adrasan Çavuş Bay, Demre, Çayağzı, Gökkaya Bay, Tersane, Üçağız, Simena, Kekova, Porto Genoa Port, Phaselis, Moonlight Bay.

The ancient city of Olympos, one of the most important port cities of ancient Lycia and the subject of mythology throughout history, is known all over the world for its magnificent 3200-meter beach, endemic plants and famous tree houses used as hostels. Due to its location, it is also known to be a hiding place for pirates. Guests interested in history can visit Santa Claus and the ruins of Myra, a Lycian city, in Demre, the next stop, and join the Kaş-Saklıkent excursion to be organized later in the journey. In Simena, you will have the opportunity to visit the ruins of the 300-seat theater and the Genoese Castle, and you can also visit the ancient city on the beach in Phaselis Bay, which was founded as a colony of the Rhodians in the VII century BC, has 3 separate natural bays, and was famous for the perfume trade in ancient times. From Kemer, you can go to Antalya and visit the Hadrian's Gate, Castle Gate, Clock Tower, City Walls, Castle Interior, Kesik Minaret, Antalya Archeology Museum and the Yivli Minaret Mosque, which is considered the symbol of the city.
