The documentary “Aşşa,” which covers Turkey's longest sailing race, is now on GAİN!
GAIN is adding another title to its wide range of content and presenting a documentary that will deeply affect sea enthusiasts: “Aşşa.” The documentary covers the Orange Sailing Team's thrilling 84 hours as they competed in the 53rd Naval Forces Cup, sponsored by GAIN and RAMS Global, and won first place in the IRC2 class.
The challenging course, spanning approximately 555 nautical miles, starts in Emirgan, Istanbul, and ends in Göcek, Muğla. Team members Deniz Ilgın, Seçil Köse, Ege Nasuhoğlu, Güneş Çelikcan, Umut Efe Alpkoçak, Berk Balta, and Doğa Arıbaş battle not only the wind and huge waves, but also physical and mental exhaustion. Throughout this process, team spirit, courage, and resilience come to the fore.
The Orange Sailing Team recounts how they came together, their connection to the sea, and the challenges of four days spent without setting foot on land in the documentary “Aşşa.” Team members share not only their racing experiences but also their passion for the sea and their story of coming together.
