One of Turkey's largest sailing festivals 13th TAYK–Eker Olympos Regatta, Following the high-paced J70 races, the action continues without slowing down. Following the J70 class fleet races held on August 8-9-10, it's time for the one-on-one competition format. J70 Match Race has reached its stages. The races, which will take place off the coast of Moda Yacht Club, will bring together sailing enthusiasts on August 12-13.
On the same days, Marmara Sailing Club Hosted by 210 boats, the Moving Start Category races will be held. During the races taking place on August 12-14, young sailors will showcase their skills, while athletes who were introduced to sailing at a young age will compete., Olympos Regatta’will once again demonstrate its support for the stars of tomorrow.
The races will start at 12:00 p.m. J70 Match Race with the Moving Release Category stages, Eker TV It will be broadcast live via the YouTube channel. This way, sailing enthusiasts can share in the excitement on the water from their screens.
As part of the festival, IOM (International One Meter) class model boat races will also be held at the Kalamış Aquatic Products Area on August 16-17. The competition between remote-controlled model boats will be one of the most unique and colorful stages of the event.
TAYK–Eker Olympos Regatta’The yacht class races will begin on the night of August 15 with the start given on the Çınarcık route. The competition will continue with a buoy race on August 16 and conclude with the Bosphorus Race held in the Bosphorus on August 17. The Bosphorus will once again be the scene of an unforgettable spectacle with the breathtaking sight of the sails.
