Lions Turkey and Marmara Sailing Club The race, organized in collaboration with the MYK, aims to support children's education. The event, which will kick off under the slogan “Legendary Sail On Bosphorus,” was announced at a press conference held at the Istanbul Maritime Museum.

This prestigious race will take place on a 30-kilometer course in the Bosphorus Strait, and the athletes sailing between Asia and Europe will compete not only for the race itself, but also to create equal opportunities for children.

This organization, which aims to contribute to the development of Turkey's maritime culture and increase interest in sailing, was established in line with Lions Turkey's philosophy of selfless service. Noting that despite the country being surrounded by seas on three sides, there has not been sufficient interest in water sports, the organizers aim for this race to encourage young people to take up sailing and to further highlight Turkey's maritime potential on the international stage.
