The VIth National Ship and Yacht Design Competition Awards have found their winners

Since 2012, the sixth National Ship and Yacht Design Competition has been held annually, organized by the Ship and Yacht Exporters Association, with the mission of generating competitive solutions in ship and yacht exports and attracting students, who represent the future of the sector, to the industry.

The award ceremony, held under the patronage of Economy Minister Nihat Zeybekci, will be attended by high-level representatives from the Ministry of Transport, Maritime Affairs, and Communications, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Economy, and numerous maritime sector institutions and organizations.The ceremony, which will also be attended by renowned French actor Gerard Depardieu, will feature a competition for “Special Purpose Ship” designs created by students who represent the future of the Turkish ship and yacht sector.

 A total of 85,000 TL in cash prizes and jury special awards will be given to the winners of the competition, in which 48 students are participating with 23 projects. The 6th National Ship and Yacht Design Competition will bring together all stakeholders in the industry and government officials, as it does every year.
