The D-Marin Mandalina and D-Marin Dalmacija marinas in Croatia will host the Super Series races, considered the Formula 1 of TP52 class sailing races and recognized as the world's best monohull sailing race.
The races, which will begin their seventh season in Šibenik on May 23-27, will be hosted by D-Marin Mandalina, followed by D-Marin Dalmacija hosting the races continuing a month later in Sukošan on June 20-24.
The TP52 Super Series races, which are expected to feature leading names in the sailing world such as Sir Ben Ainslie, will bring approximately 500 participants from 20 countries to Croatia, including new and former Olympic champions and winners of the world's most important sailing races such as the America's Cup. The fact that the races will take place on some of the world's most exclusive routes, including Miami, Key West, Porto Cervo, Menorca, and Scarlino, further highlights the significance of the event.
The D-Marin marinas in Sukošan and Šibenik hosted various yacht races over the past two years, including the Farr 40 Adriatic Stage Championship, held for the first time in Croatia in 2016, as well as the European Championships and European leagues in the Melges 20 and Melges 32 classes.
The TP52 Super Series yacht races held in Šibenik and Zadar, positioned as Croatia's most beautiful sailing destinations in Europe, contribute to promoting not only sailing and yachting but also the destinations where the yacht races are held.
