The motor yacht VIRTUS, built by Mengi Yay Yachting and symbolizing elegance and dynamism, will be awaiting visitors at the CNR Eurasia Boat Show.
Mengi Yay Yachting will participate in the CNR Eurasia Boat Show 2020, the 15th International Marine Equipment and Accessories Fair, which will be held between February 22 and March 1, 2020, as is tradition, and will meet with marine enthusiasts. The company's launch product this year is the 44-meter steel/aluminum construction motor yacht named Virtus.
The 44-meter VIRTUS, produced at the MENGİ YAY Shipyard operating in the Nuh Industrial Site in the Tuzla Shipyard Area, stands out with its elegant and dynamic design, spacious living areas and generous interior volume, 55-square-meter opening platform (beach club), and the comfort provided by four stabilizers.
VIRTUS, with its steel body and aluminum upper structure, features interior design by BTA Design and exterior design by VYD Studio.
The VIRTUS, measuring 44 meters in length and 8.8 meters in width, features 5 cabins, 10 beds, 4 crew cabins, and two 1,450 horsepower engines. With its two 1450 horsepower engines, VIRTUS has a maximum speed of 16 knots, a cruising speed of 12 knots, and an economical speed of 10 knots. Its cruising range is 3,200 nautical miles at 10 knots.
Spacious and comfortable interiors
As soon as you step onto the boat, the first thing that catches your eye is the spacious interior and the windows and balconies opening onto the deck. This allows you to enjoy the sea from both the cabins and the main salon. The balconies accessible from the main salon and master cabin also offer a unique sea experience. The spacious and stylish beach area allows you to fully enjoy the sea and sun. The five cabins on the yacht stand out with their spacious designs.
Another MENGİ YAY project to be showcased at the fair is the 35.5-meter motor yacht named Sea Star. Featuring a wooden hull and composite superstructure, SEA STAR bears the signature of VYD Yacht Design in its interior and exterior design.
The SEA STAR reaches a speed of 22 knots with its planing hull design and two 1900 HP engines. With a width of 7.68 meters, the SEA STAR accommodates 10 people in one master cabin and four guest cabins, reflecting the appeal of its motor yacht exterior throughout the entire vessel.
The spacious saloon and living areas ensure you always feel connected to the open air and sea. Its wooden hull and composite structure maximize silence and comfort while underway or at anchor. Delivery of the motor yacht is scheduled for May 2020.
At Mengi Yacht Shipyard, construction work is also continuing at full speed on a 47-meter gulet and a 42-meter steel/aluminum-hulled sailing yacht. The gulet will be launched in September 2020, while the sailing yacht will be launched by the end of March 2021.
