Italian boat manufacturer Cantieri Capelli and East Marine, a marine retail brand operating in Turkey, announced their cooperation in the Turkish market at a special event in Istanbul.
The event, which was held at the Rahmi M. Koç Museum, brought together guests from the maritime industry and sea enthusiasts, and shared the brands' plans for the Turkish market and the scope of the cooperation.
Mehmet Apak, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Capelli, stated that the production process of the brand, which started in Italy, has now reached different markets on an international scale and that the Capelli design approach is based on the balance of form and function.
Umberto Capelli stated that the brand's nearly 50-year engineering history is shaped on the axis of performance, safety and design, and emphasized the importance of the Turkish market for the brand.
Gürhan Günal stated that East Marine has been working for the development of maritime culture in Turkey since 2008 and that the Capelli cooperation strengthened the company's product range and brand structuring.
Founded in 1974 in Italy, Cantieri Capelli is among the well-known brands in the international market, especially with its Tempest and Stradivari series. The Turkish market is considered as one of the prominent regions in the brand's growth plans with the cooperation with East Marine.
