Harun Kemali ranked among the top three in the Young Designer of the Year competition.

Organized with the support of Oceanco and featuring young designers, Kemali, who continues to work at Karataş Yacht Design, graduated from ITU Department of Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering in 2009. Kemali won the Special Jury Award at the 2014 Millennium Yacht Design Awards with his electric speedboat concept, the first prize in the 2014 Ship and Yacht Exporters' Association's student design competition with his 45-meter sailboat design and a team of three, and was a finalist in the Young Designer of the Year Awards in 2015 with his 55-meter sailboat concept. The 25-year-old designer is currently working on three new projects. Kemali took part in the designs of Zodiac and Rem projects at Karataş Yacht Design.
