The event, which is expected to attract over 65,000 visitors, will be open until February 22.

In his opening speech, Bekiroğlu stated that the fair is a major source of prestige for Turkey, “We aim to organize a bigger and stronger fair every year. We will continue our efforts without pause to help our local producers gain a stronger foothold in the international market.” he said.

One of the most notable aspects of this year's fair was the increasing prominence of domestic manufacturers. The fact that 50% of the boats on display belonged to local manufacturers demonstrated Turkey's rising power in the yacht and boat sector. With yachts and boats to suit every budget on display at the fair, prices range from 200,000 TL to 310 million TL.
The fair, which features world-renowned brands, offers visitors both affordable and luxury options. Sea enthusiasts have the opportunity to choose from a wide range of products, including motorboats, inflatable boats, marine engines, and sailboats.

Murat Bekiroğlu, Chairman of the YATED Board of Directors, announced that they have signed a five-year agreement regarding the fairgrounds and fixed prices to prevent the sector from being affected by cost increases. “This will enable participants to attend the fair at more affordable prices in the coming years. As YATED, we will continue to invest our profits back into our industry.” he added.
Bekiroğlu also emphasized that in the past, black fairs were predominantly dominated by importing companies, but this year, domestic producers are more prominent. “The fact that our domestic manufacturers have a larger share at the fair this year is a great success for our industry. We will do our utmost to promote our boats and yachts to the world.” he said.
