The shipyard's dominant design concept is the military-looking Cyclone in silver. Cyclone performed well in sea trials and the 37.92-meter So'Mar was sold at the 2013 Monaco Yacht Show after receiving great interest.
Cyclone has the same DNA as Tansu Yachts' older boats, and a library with a ceiling height of nearly three meters is an important difference in the interior design. Diana Yacht Design, which has been involved in most of the shipyard's projects, was also responsible for the engineering works of Cyclone. The 8 guest, 5 crew capacity megayacht has a master cabin on the top floor and 3 guest cabins on the lower floor.
Powered by 1,700hp Caterpillar C32 diesel engines, the megayacht reaches a cruising speed of 16 knots and a top speed of 21.7 knots. At 11 knots, Cyclone is capable of 2,700 nautical miles. The shipyard is currently building the 44-meter Orca project. When she launches at the end of the year, Orca will be the new flagship of Tansu Yachts.
