The 34th American Hospital The Bodrum Cup Sailing Regatta concluded with an awards ceremony following the final day of racing.
Colorful scenes unfolded at The Bodrum Cup Sailing Races, held under the name sponsorship of American Hospital, which this year drew attention to the blue economy. The races were completed on the 11-mile Anadolu Sigorta stage along the Bodrum-Bodrum route.

A special awareness event for the KADES application was also held during the final day of the races. The special event, held to increase awareness and recognition of KADES, was attended by Bodrum District Governor Bilgehan Bayar, Provincial Police Chief Süleyman Suvat Dilberoğlu, Coast Guard South Aegean Group Commander Lieutenant Colonel Süleyman Ercan, Honorary President of The Bodrum Cup Erman Aras, and President of The Bodrum Cup Organizing Committee Süleyman Uysal.
Hızır 1, Champion for the Third Time
In the overall standings of the Bodrum Cup, Hızır 1 came first, Take It Easier second, and Bodrum (STS) third. Having won the overall championship last year and the year before, the Hızır 1 yacht earned its third championship title and the right to carry the regatta flag for life.
Many political and important figures attended the award ceremony held at İçmeler Ağanlar Shipyard.
Before the ceremony, a two-minute moment of silence was observed for the citizens who lost their lives in the explosion at the mine in Amasra district of Bartın and for the doctor-competitor Nihan Eren, who collapsed and died during the race. After the athletes were awarded their prizes, the ceremony ended with an Athena concert.
